Low emissions zone in Brussels, air quality and access by car to the sites of the CHU Brugmann

LEZ Brussel

LEZ Since January 1st, 2018 the Brussels-Capital Region has become a Low Emission Zone (LEZ).

In 2022, the access criteria will be tightened, and Euro 4 diesel vehicles will also be affected.

If you're travelling by car or in a van to one of the CHU Brugmann sites, check here to find out if your vehicle is affected.

Your vehicle does not meet the access criteria of the Low Emission Zone ?

If your vehicle does not comply with the LEZ access criteria, you can buy a day pass or use one of the many available alternatives to travel in the LEZ.
We would also remind you that there are park-and-ride car parks on the access routes leading into Brussels.

N.B. : Vehicles registered abroad must first be registered before travelling in the LEZ. Registration is free.
